DECODE welcomes Heidi Jensen, partner and trademark agent

A trademark agent with more than 30 years of experience, Heidi specializes in all areas of trademark clearance, protection, and enforcement.

Heidi has developed and implemented brand protection strategies for some of the world’s most valuable and recognized brands, ranging from cutting edge start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, applying her deep expertise in trademark law and broad marketplace knowledge. She works closely with business owners, in-house counsel, and foreign associates to ensure her advice supports the client’s commercial objectives.

Based in Ottawa, Heidi will contribute to developing DECODE’s presence in the Ontario market.

Before joining DECODE, Heidi founded and operated JENSEN IP for 15 years, ranking amongst the top 40 practices in Canada in terms of volume of trademark applications filed at the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). Her previous experience includes leading the Trademark Practice Group of an Ottawa-based IP firm.
